Impact

Social

- Jim crow laws created allowing blacks to use same restrooms go to same schools and much more

- With the Jim crow laws being put into place it would force one another to see each other and work together and talk. 

-Would accept one another and see one another as equal

Economic

-Dropout rate of African American students (age 16 to 24) declined from 20.5 percent in 1976 to 13.0 percent in 1996

-High school graduation rates among African Americans have increased substantially in the past 20 years and drawn much closer to the high school graduation rate of whites.

-This would allow for better opportunity in the future

Global

-In 1964 the civil rights act made it illegal to separate people based on race

-Also because of the civil rights act this now allows others from around the world called immigrants into the United States
